'Write about NZ' -  is an iPad app that offers lots of options and inspiration to write at home.  There are a number of writing prompts both in the categories or random sections, or children can create their own prompts using the camera. After writing children can choose to record themselves reading their work out. Work can be edited or added to later. The possibilities using the quick write feature are endless and this is a favourite feature for classroom use. Children often photograph their work, art or topic wall displays and write about their learning. Finished work can be saved within the app and sent to the iPad photo album. A trial version of this app is free.  Children can use this app to record their weekly news, then email it to school for us to show on the screen.
