Reading

Sunshine Online is one of our favourite online reading sites. When children use Sunshine Online in the classroom they have the ''read to" feature turned off (or sound off) then use headphones when playing the follow up comprehension or language games. http://www.sunshineonline.com.au/ This site is a great option for children who are not so great at bringing reading home everyday. They can record the title of the story in their reading log just as they do for a normal reader.  Our username is windsornorth and the password is wns2014. Home reading should be reinforcement of a book read recently in class or a book that can be read without too much difficultly independently. The children will know which levels they are using on Sunshine Online in class, but feel free to send an email if you need more guidance on which level would be best.
